• This herbal oil is based on Kerala Ayurveda principle. This is usually prepared in coconut or sesame oil base. It is also known as Durvadi keratailam.

SUGGESTED USE

Self-massage at least once a week for 15 minutes with Doorvadi Tailam is a very effective treatment to reduce Vata disorders. It has a soothing and restorative effect on the nervous system and is therefore very beneficial for anyone suffering from stress associated debility or wishing to prevent the effects of strenuous work or training. Apply slightly warmed oil to the whole body paying particular attention to head, lower back, abdomen and feet. Rest for at least half an hour before taking a shower or bath. Applying Doorvadi Thailam locally to joints and muscles is a good treatment and preventative measure for dancers, athletes, massage practitioners, osteopaths, tradesmen, etc. Anyone who is involved predominantly physical and repetitive activities can benefit from applying this oil to areas which have become weakened by the nature of their work and to prevent further accumulative damage.
